GANJOR Born and bred in the vibrant city of Nairobi, Ganjor is about to take the world by storm with his hybrid sound. Growing up, the Kenyan singer/rapper was inspired by local hip hop and dancehall legends Ukoo Flani and Necessary Noize. He also draws inspiration from African stars Burna Boy and Big Zulu who have had a profound impact on his artistic vision. Ganjor's journey to becoming a musician began when he was just 15 years old. He seized an opportunity to perform in front of his entire school, and his electrifying performance left his schoolmates cheering and throwing books in the air. From that moment on, he knew music was his destiny. Since then, Ganjor has released several successful solo projects that garnered widespread airplay on Kenya's top radio stations, including NRG Radio and Vibez Radio. He has also built a loyal fanbase through performing at prestigious universities such as Kenya Methodist University and Mount Kenya University. In 2022, Ganjor met his co-writer and producer, who has decades of experience working in the music business. Together, they created Ganjor's highly anticipated debut album, "The Great Son of McBeth." Named after his mother's nickname, it blends Afro, Latin, and Hip Hop beats to create a truly hybrid album that will appeal to both African and international music lovers. With his first release "Nairobi Love" on the way, Ganjor is a rising global star to watch out for.
